As an animist and evolutionary astrologer, I help creatives, healers, and solopreneurs who are in major life transitions and personal transformations confidently and creatively express their soul’s purpose. 

By illuminating your astrology through an animist lens (i.e., through you deepening your relationships with your inner mythology, outer planetary influences, and the natural world), I support you in experiencing greater clarity, creative courage, and heart-centered resilience, as you evolve ever more deeply into your instinctual knowing, empowered actions, and relational sovereignty. 🙌

As your astrologer and coach, I am here to offer steady support and presence; intuitive guidance and reflective questions; compassionate encouragement and a truthful mirror; gentle redirects, deepening prompts and practices; and astrological inspiration!

What I offer and for whom:

I offer evolutionary and animist astrology readings, as well as astrology coaching (including money coaching), and creative small-group community events. I especially enjoy working with folks who thrive with a creative, playful, and embodied coaching approach. 

I’m a long-time practitioner of the astrological arts and student of the starry night sky; a lover of wild nature; a supporter of reciprocity and equitable relationships with both people and place; and a mythic storyteller, contemplative nature guide, group facilitator, coach, and a holder of sacred space.

My approach and personal story:

I have great empathy for (and much personal experience with) times of ginormous change, great loss, leaps into the void and leaps of faith, transformational change, the long arc of spiraling evolution, and the quiet undoings-of-the-previously-known while abiding in the liminal space of the betwixt and between.

Most dramatically, in 2006, I experienced a “life explosion,” a sudden and unplanned loss (over the span of several weeks) of my home, job, car, romantic relationship, past lover, town, teacher, and spiritual community. Completely undone, I drove up a lonely mountain road seeking a cell signal and called an astrologer. With great calm and clarity, he revealed the multi-layered Uranus and Pluto transits splaying their explosive arcs across my natal chart. I’ll always remember his compassionate words: “Really, at this point, there’s nothing. you could do but go into the woods and contemplate your astrology!” A dark night of the soul followed, time lay fallow for a spell, and and then, like the dandelions of spring bursting forth, finally my entirely new life found me, and I was ready! 🙏

Not just during that most difficult passage, but many times over the past 30 years, and especially during my times of wildest and most courageous transitions, transformations, and change, I have consistently found astrology to be a guiding light of great support, insight, illumination, playfulness, cosmic humor, and spiritual fortitude, and now it is my honor to facilitate clients’ own astrological illuminations. :-) ✨✨🌈✨✨✨

Educational background:

I hold a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in environmental education (emphasis in inspiring adults to deepen their connections with the natural world via the creative arts) from Western Washington University and a B.A. in physical geography from the University of California, Davis.

I also hold certifications as a YNAB Coach, a Standup Paddleboard Instructor, and a Montessori elementary teacher (specializing in creative writing and nature studies).

In addition, I have completed hundreds of hours of training—and thousands of hours of practice—in interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, including group facilitation, nature education, meditation and related contemplative practices, and a wide variety of healing and spiritual modalities within Dharma, shamanic, and earth-based traditions with a special focus on evolutionary and animist astrology as a healing art.

I’ve studied astrology informally for 30 years, and formally for the past 11 years. My mentor and main teacher is quantum astrologer Emily Trinkaus; other astrology teachers and influences include Caroline Casey, the late Jan Spiller, Demetri George, and Jason Holley. I have been offering readings for friends since 2005 and professionally since 2023. Sprouting from this focused study and practice has come much experiential astrological wisdom and insight, and for this I am profoundly grateful to the planetary guides, luminaries, and allies both seen and unseen. 🙏🪐🌙✨

My own healing journey:

More personally, my dedication to contemplative and transformative practices has supported me in my own healing journey over the last 30+ years, both in unraveling ancestral traumas that carried forward through generations and in creating new, healthier, and more generative (and ever-evolving!) relationships with the elemental realms of deep nourishment, resourcing/resilience, and embodied presence, which interweave with our collective wellbeing . . . even if only in ways subtle, or seemingly hidden from view . . . like a shimmering spring bubbling up in the deep wilds. 💗

Homes:

I recently relocated to the lands called Santa Fe, New Mexico with my beloved life mate. (Land acknowledgment coming very soon, by end of April 2026! 🙏 )

Previously I was based in (and seasonally return to, just like a salmon) Bellingham, Washington, along the edge of the Salish Sea, on the ancestral homelands of the Coast Salish Peoples. Gratitude and respect to the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, who have tended these lands and waterways from time immemorial. 🙏
